Atomix Pixel helps Kevin.Murphy with app development.

App production is an obvious extension for Atomic Pixel. Its range of services from animation to slick video creations provides a great vehicle for some very rich media interactive magazine style marketing and educational apps.

The international hair product manufacturer Kevin.Murphy asked us to help develop the prototype for their app and we were excited to be involved with the provision of an a functioning app with videos, animations, podcasts and interactive spinning products instead.

Kevin has a great eye for creative detail, and is always a pleasure to deal with. His words were simple, and coming from a world renowned fashion stylist it means a lot to us. His words were simply " LOVE IT!"

The final app for both iPad and Android should be released mid year.

Criminal offender dramatised Re-enactments for Mental Health and Griffith University

Media Odyssey is proud to have just finalised a series of 3 movie length DVD productions for Queensland Health and Griffith University. These epic length training discs are designed to train university level students and existing psychology staff on quality interviewing procedures for dealing with mental health clients. The discs cover dealing with the special needs of criminally charged people from indigenous communities, potentially disabled clients, and potentially violent offenders.

Another successful year for Quest Business Achievers Awards

As another successful year for Quest Business Achievers drew to a close, a new and exciting format for next year's awards series is already in development. The new format was showcased at the Ipswich News awards last month, it will display yet another twist of creativity from Media Odyssey that allows high quality delivery of a process line production - servicing the Quest Newspapers annual awards series with flair for the last 15 years. We are proud to have been able to support such events for such an extensive length of time.

Animation support for regional television stations

Does your TVC need a little boost? Media Odyssey continually supplies animation support to regional television stations around Queensland and Australia - providing simple logo animations, storyboard support and animated snippets of all sorts to help give regional TVCs a lick and polish without breaking the bank.

Canadian firm contracts Media Odyssey again

Savanna Energy Services from Canada has again retained Media Odyssey as the Australian provider of footage for their absolutely amazing low impact drilling rigs, utilised out in western Queensland's coal gas seam. Time-lapse photography of the new equipment together with photographic sunset stills and some incredible stable footage from a Cineflex HD on a Long Ranger helicopter won the client's admiration, with the remark: "This is unbelievable stuff, you've done outstanding work!"

Bridge to Brisbane Fun Run 2011 a 42,000 participant success

Over 42,000 fun-runners ran, walked and prammed their way to the finish line at the RNA last Sunday, and Media Odyssey was there again to capture all the faces and shoelaces. With three teams on the ground, many wonderful visual stories were recorded as a reminder of just how good the day was and a motivator to get out there again next year, with a charity fundraising record to beat of over half a million dollars!
